Savages? really? Let this ad be about Jewish people and see how long it would stay up around metro stations. These bullshit ads have been up around DC metro stations after a judge’s ruling. The level of ignorance and arrogance displayed in the message is of epic proportions. Some would argue that Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians is down right barbaric and pompous.
How do you take someone’s land, live on the land and deny the residents their God given right to live there? Not only that you put up roadblocks and kill innocent people because of your perceived entitlement to an area of land by some religious book. Savages? No whats savage is the terrorism displayed on people they feel are inferior to them. Not only that how do you treat the black Israelis in your own country? From my understanding they are at the bottom of your society. It is hard for them to gain employment and they are subject to systematic racism just like minorities are subject to it in America.
Entitlement is the reason why their will never be peace in that region. Messages like this however don’t make matters better. They exacerbate an already volatile situation that has been a powder keg for centuries. How is this arrogance excused? If there was some sort of terrorism displayed because of this ad the perpetrators would be called all kind of animals and so on. But why call someone a savage because of what they believe in? They have a right to believe in what they want to believe in and don’t have to apologetic about it.
They feel they are God’s chosen people but their actions say otherwise. Even Albert Einstein a Jew himself, took issue with this. This was displayed in a letter of his that is about to be put up for auction. It was letter written to a Jewish philosopher in reaction to a book he wrote. His exact words: “For me the Jewish religion like all other religions is an incarnation of the most childish superstitions. And the Jewish people to whom I gladly belong and with whose mentality I have a deep affinity have no different quality for me than all other people. As far as my experience goes, they are also no better than other human groups … I cannot see anything ‘chosen’ about them.”
These words came from one the most brilliant minds humanity has ever seen. Einstein seen through the smoke screen and realized at the end of the day people are are basically the same regardless of how “special” their delusions of grandeur make them feel. I find it funny that the same people that always want you to feel sorry for them are the same ones spewin out acid. At the end of the day a savage is defined as: fierce, ferocious, or cruel; untamed, uncivilized; barbarous, enraged or furiously angry.
A person full of rage came up with the idea to place these ads in a place where they would could be seen and controversy could be caused. Cruelty can be seen displayed in the message and clearly this was not a civil thing to do because it clearly challenges the fundamental peace of a society already shell shocked from to many conflicts in that region. It takes a savage to know one. Let that marinate.
